No matter what your opinion is about Santana’s outing and the circumstances surrounding it, some people are being really ignorant of the fact that Finn’s a good guy, and always has been.
He never goes out of his way to intentionally hurt people (unless you count his one insult to Santana, and judging by the face he pulled afterwards, it probably took him a while to come up with it since he looked pretty proud of himself), and during Mash-Off, he acted with maturity.
- He doesn’t like that there are two different clubs, yet he wants to avoid hostility
- His team loses at dodgeball, and instead of being bitter, he admits it was a good game
- Santana and Brittany don’t applaud when the New Directions finish their song, but he tells Rachel that he liked the Troubletones’ number (and this is after Santana practically ripped him a new one in the halllway)
Basically, Finn’s a good guy, and too many people seem to overlook that. This is one of the reasons I really loved Mash-Off, because Finn’s best qualities were on show, and this is why he makes such a good leader and friend.
